About Us
At MMFH, our mission is to unite the community with the environment of philanthropy, using the power of numbers to aide charities within the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.
Our members are motivated by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Our vision of benefiting humanity is driven by the Islamic principle of caring for all of God’s creation, regardless of race, gender or religion.
MMFH is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization so your quarterly contributions will be tax deductible.
Those who spend of their goods (in charity) by night and by day in secret and in public shall have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.
[Quran 2:274]
How it Works
- Our members donate $100 per quarter ($25 per quarter if you are a student).
- We meet quarterly to vote on a nominated charity(ies) that will receive the pooled donation from our members.
- Charities are nominated by members, evaluated by the Board of Directors and invited to present at the quarterly meeting before voting.
- We ask that members are committed for the long term and to learning about and giving to their community.
Featured Charities
O ye who beleive, spend of the wealth We have bestowed upon you (in Allah’s way), before the Day comes when there shall be no buying and no selling; when neither friendship nor intercession will be of any avail.
